A super forward thinking person he believed in giving his partner, his kid’s complete freedom of thought. An era when people wanted a boy he prayed for a girl child. Engineering and MBBS were the only two professions seen as worth studying you gave us the freedom to follow our dreams. Basic education used to be the flavor of the season back then and here he was who gave his kids exposure to Music, dance, sports and theater.

His simple theories like “learn music so that you can at least cry in Sur”, “Do anything in life but be good at it .. Jhaadu bhi becho toh log bolen wah kya Jhaadu becha hain” were profound!!

Nanna you have been the guiding force and your theory of let loose people and let them make their own decision has made us what we are. You are definitely way ahead in your thinking, values and knowledge. Father to not only to his own kids but also their partners who joined the wagon in course of time; he is a man with discipline and values. A very unique and rare man who always takes pride in being introduced as Mr. Sujala (my mom’s name) or his kids’ dad. Very good orator and entertainer I have always seen him ready to learn and absorb knowledge practically from any and everyone.

In nutshell Childlike, naïve and divine that’s my dad!
